My husband and I love to golf. We even have a personal handicap of nine. But, we also know that we can’t always spend every weekend at the course. That’s when we pull out our golf clubs and head to the local country club. We play until late and then head home.

That was until two years ago when my son decided he wanted to start playing golf. We were all very excited when he announced that his first game would be on a Saturday. We packed up the family for the long drive and went to the local course in town. Needless to say, we all walked away from the course with a lot of smiles on our faces.

I didn’t know what to expect when we got there. The first thing that I noticed was that there were only about 15 people at the course. That’s not very many golf cakes for kids to play on! But, I couldn’t wait to get down on the green and give it a try.

It wasn’t long before my son had to go with his friends to the clubhouse for lunch. When we got back, we just sat around and enjoyed the day. Then, as night started to set in, we each took a turn going for a walk around the fairways. When we got back, we lit up a fire and enjoyed the entire night enjoying the cool breeze and the great breeze. The kids kept track of time and when they woke up, they knew who won.

Our next game was on a Wednesday night. Again, we packed up the whole family and headed to the fairways. I think we might have eaten more at the clubhouse before hand because we all walked on a sugar high. Once we hit the fairway, I told the kids to get their clubs ready and we’re all set to enjoy our day at the golf course.

First, I made them all have their clubsharts sharp. Then, I asked each kid to put his clubshart on. When the game started, I just kept them in one spot and they were never off the clubshart. So, it wasn’t easy for them to hit the ball. But, I think they all stuck with it and hit some great shots.

My husband and I decided to head over to the course on Sunday. We were met by a beautiful Sunday morning. Out here, we can have breakfast and also play golf. My kids asked if we could watch the rest of the tournament. Of course, I told them yes. Golf Cakes for Kids has turned out to be an amazing adventure for us.

The next day, my dad made sure to get us the best cake at the clubhouse. To start, my daughter and I had the same cake. Then, we got a new one made with some other kids that came over. We couldn’t stop talking about how our new cake tasted. Then, it came down to getting our favorite cake from the stands.

After that, we went out for a walk. It was really nice seeing some golf carts pass by. It made it more fun to see all the golfers at the course. I really enjoyed watching our new friends at the course. They all seemed so excited.

So, I decided to bake a cake for the kids. I went to Dairy Queen and took a look at their large selection of delicious cakes. I knew that this was going to be a hit. Then, I went back home and baked. I knew it was going to be a huge success.

I brought the cake in my car and parked it at the public golf range. It was such a big hit! Kids were squealing and having a good time playing. That’s when I realized it was going to be a big night for me. I made the best golf cake that I could for the lucky kids.
